10G line cards supported with 4503 SUP2+TS ??

I need a 10G support on 4503 chassi with SUP II plus TS.

Is any of the 10G line cards i.e. 4712 or 4606 supported on SUP II plus TS on 4503?

hi Anuja,

No it's not supported with this Sup. Moreover this Sup is EOS now.

How many ports do you need. The best option for you is to go for Sup6-LE which will give you 2 10G ports and you can use 4606 with that for additional ports.

Just to add more info to what Amit said,

i recently deployed 4507 with Sup7-E and used 10G ports on it. It works perfect ! The good thing is, you can use them as 1G ports also based on your requriement.

Its the same with SUP6-E and SUP6-LE. It will be same for both SUP7-E and SUP7-LE.

The minimum investment would be in SUP6-LE. If you want to use SUP7-E as pointed by Guru, you can use both 4712 and 4606 10GE modules.
