2 x 10G layer 2 port channeling

Hello there,

I have 2 units of CAT6509-E distribution switches. Each switch will has 2 x WS-X6708-10G-3C 10G modules (on slot 1 and slot 2).

I am thinking of doing layer-2 2 x 10G port channeling between the 2 distribution switches. Is there any known issue of doing this? Anything that I need to beware of?

Do you have a Sup720 card?

Yes, I am using this sup engine, VS-S720-10G-3C on each switch.

Connecting both chassis with a 10Gb etherchannel should be fine.  We did the same in our network.
