Kashish,

See if "ip virtual-reassembly" on the interface resolves the issue. Then do your shut/no shut.

I tried that as well, but it remains down, down.

interface GigabitEthernet0/2

ip address <>

no ip redirects

no ip proxy-arp

ip nat outside

ip virtual-reassembly in

shutdown

duplex auto

speed auto

end

Router# sh int gi0/2

Hi,

Have you checked for physical layer issues? I see the link itself is getting down : %LINK-3-UPDOWN

Kind Regards,

Ivan Shirshin
