        Hello,

I am connecting 2 ws-c2960s-48fps-l. I found documentation for connecting 3 or more switches for maximum redundency, but nothing for only 2 switches. Do I:

A) connect Master Stack Port 1 --> Member Stack Port 1

Master Stack Port 2 --> Member Stack Port 2

or B) connect Master Stack Port 1 --> Member Stack Port 2

Master Stack Port 2 --> Member Stack Port1

or Does it matter?

Thank you,

Jon

Fairly sure it doesn't matter but I do recall seeing it documented as option B

Additional info:

Have a look at figure 5.1 (Working on the assumption that the 3750 stacking is the same as the 2960)

I don't think it matters either in a 2-switch stack.

For what it's worth, there's a 2-switch example shown on page 23 of the Getting Started Guide that shows option A.

All of the other references I found show 3 or 4 switch stacks with something more akin to option B.
