2960g Amber Lights

I recently bought a used catalyst 2960G 48 port switch but when I turn it on the 4 status lights and gigabit link lights immediately turn amber and stay solid amber. No console output either. Is it dead? Thanks in advance.

If no console output, the appliance is surely dead.

You could try with pressing the mode button on power up:

It does sound like its knackered though...
