Hi,

what is the status of those ports - notconnected, errdisabled? Please post a "show interface status" output and also an "show interface  ge 0/x" from affected port.

please find below mention output ....

Are these ports coming from a client with NIC Teaming turned on?

Hi, as leolaohoo wrote please tell us what kind of device is connected to these ports. From your show int status I can see that all counters are zero so I think these ports were never up. Have you tried to connect directly with a notebook to one of these ports?

hi rocco.scholz,

Our end users were connected through these ports but due the problem i had remove them and restart the switch.

Now the problem is that the ports were randomly not responding and within 7 days total 5 nos ports were useless.

Even I had connected my laptop on these ports but it shows not connected.

have you already tried a online diagnostic test?

Post the config for the ports.

Maybe BPDU Guard is enabled or port security or something could be sending the ports into error-disable.

Try   show post  command

If there is something wrong with ports there should be some errors...

Hi Leo,

Maybe BPDU Guard is enabled or port security or something could be sending the ports into error-disable

they would be  in errdisabled state but here they are in notconnect state.

But giving us a show run interface output  would maybe tell us a little bit more.

Regards.
