2960s PoE port using max power instead of whatever it needs

Looking at two different stacks of switches, both running the same ios. (150-1.SE2) both have lldp enabled (lldp run)

On one switch, I'm showing the following:

Gi1/0/6 auto on 24.5 Ieee PD 4 30.0
Gi1/0/10 auto on 4.4 MINET_6920 1 30.0

In this switch, I don't have any power related configs on the interface.

On the other one

Gi1/0/1 auto on 15.4 Ieee PD 4 30.0
Gi1/0/2 auto on 30.0 Ieee PD 4 30.0

Gi1/0/16 auto on 15.4 MINET_6920 1 30.0

In this switch, if I don't have any power related configs on the interface, ports show consuming 30w.  The ones showing 15.4 watts is because I restricted with "power inline consumption 15400"

Any ideas?

Depends on the POE standards and how the end device is negotiating power usage

Check the power negotiated over LLDP
