2960x Stack High CPU using 802.1x for ISE

High CPU with 2960x Stacks and 802.1x configuration.

I have a customer with stacks of 2960-x switches which have high CPU once .1x configuration is applied on the interfaces.

Process such as Auth Manger and CPU - EPM ACL PLUG-IN  are very high.

Had a Cisco TAC case open for a couple of months now, it has gone to the Architecture team, they suspected memory leak, we keep sending outputs but so far no answer.

Keep the pressure on Cisco until they fix it. The IOS for 2960x series switches have many bugs. I had to replace 30 of them with 3650s.

Thanks Reza, the customer is disappointed as ISE was installed nearly a year ago for device profiling initially, yet we haven't got that far because the platform requires 802.1x on the interfaces configured to send AAA for profiling information.

I think stacked 2960x run warmer and higher CPU like the 3750s.

I'm thinking of moving them to IBNS v2.0.
