2960X switches are now L3 starting from this release :15.2(6)E

routed physical ports , eigrp, ospf ....etc

The 2960x series switches are mainly layer-2 with some limited layer-3 functionality pending the model and the license.

I would not rely on just the output of "sh ip route" Try enabling these features and see if they actually work since you have a LAN Base switch.
