Hi,
I have configured storm-control in al port in some switches 2975. I tried with some values 10% of bandwidth 0.10 and 0.01.
If I configured 0.10% for example some equipments send boradcast continuosly at 0..01 to 0.003 and the cpu of the Core network(VSS720) reach 90%.
If I low the value to 0.001, the CPU of the Core it's fine but some ports on the 2975 go down ( the most broadcast speakers).
There is any matter to filter the broadcast traffic that don't shutdown the port (err-disable).
I don't want to allow more that 0.001 ( if I allow the CPU of 6500 raised).
