I have 5 WS-C3550-48-SMI switches on 2 different floors in a single building. There are 3 on one floor and 2 on another. There are 2 RPS 300 units (one for each floor). All 5 3550s are showing RPS is FAULTED with the show env all command.
A visual check of the RPS units shows all green LEDs. I had the onsite tech take both RPS to standby and back to active and still no change in status.
There are zero logging events (logging level is debugging). It is possible that the site lost power due to weather, but the fault is still there.
Is there a reset command on the 3550 to initialize the fault? Do I need to reset all 5 switches?

12.1.(8)

I think you need to upgrade to either the 12.1(22) train or 12.2 version of IOS. Earlier version may contain bugs which will not recognize the presence of the RPS.
