Hi Guys

i have a 3560 running IOS 'c3560-ipservices-mz.122-25.SEB4.bin'

When i connect a cicso ip phone into the port it goes into err-disable. when i do a show power inline f0/19 it says inline power is not supported on this interface. This is the case for all interfaces...

The power available is showing as zero.. why is this?

I checked the feature navigator and it seems as though this hardware and IOS should support poe, anyone got any ideas??

Switch#sho power inline

Available:0.0(w) Used:0.0(w) Remaining:0.0(w)

Interface Admin Oper Power Device Class Max

(Watts)

--------- ------ ---------- ------- ------------------- ----- ----

Switch#

Switch#sho power inline f0/19

Interface Fa0/19: inline power not supported

Thanks

The 3560 does support POE but not every model.

What is the model of your 3560

Below is a link to the 3560's with and without POE support :-

Looking at the data sheet it does not support poe.

Thanks for clearing this up.
