All,
We just purchased nine 3560X series switches (with 1Gb modules) for a project. After an IOS upgrade, it's taking 25 minutes for a switch to boot up. Is that normal?
Thanks in advance,
M

If you upgrading from one IOS to, say, 12.2(55)SE or later, you'll see that it will go into a micro-code upgrade. Your entire screen will be filled with "pass" and will take a heart-stopping 25-45 minutes.
This is just a one-time event.

Thanks for the quick response. So you don't think that it should do that again in a normal reboot situation?

It shouldn't.
