3650 Power Supply Disabled

I am having an issue that I can't seem to resolve. Has anyone had an issue where good power supplies show "disabled" on WS-C3650-48FS-L switches? I have 2 stacks that show power being disabled on some of the power supplies. It is currently running code version 03.06.06E. I have tried the EXEC command "power supply 1 slot b on" but it didn't resolve the issue. Reboots did not help either. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks for any help.

Hi, 

I have seen the same thing with 3850 series where the Power supply is working fine but show environment command shows it as disable or unknown. This also causes the monitoring software to get confused and send alerts. This is an IOS bug, and so you may want to open a ticket with TAC and see if they have an image that does not have this problem.

Cat3650-PSU shown as Disabled when there is not input power cables.

Disabled

The power supply and input power are present, but power supply is switched off by CLI.

Switch# power supply 1  slot A on/off----------> use this command for doing on/off the power supply

I also have this problem on a 3650 running 16.3.3 which also has a memory leak.  We will be upgrading next week.

Catalyst 9300 is found also this problem:

The onsite engineer also reported the RED/AMBER LED was blinking while he reached at the spot.

" Disabled :  The power supply and input power are present, but power supply is switched off by CLI. "

Switch issues this command automatically when it finds supply problem, thx  ?
