3750’s Stack arrangement

Is it possible to arrange the stack switches as per physical location on the rack, and without changing interfaces configuration?

Hi,

the only way i know is the "renumber" command.

But afaik this kills the interface configuration ...

If the cables are long enough, the screwdriver is the easiest way, hehe.

If you renumber your switches, in order for it to take effect, you have to reboot the stack.  Once the switches are rebooted the config will change.
