Hi All
I got a question
I m in process to replace 2 old witches with 2 new switches (3750G), can I just move configs from old sw to new switches?
thanks

Not really. you are better off putting the config in a notepad and cut and past parts in.
The reason for this is the ports and port numbering may not be the same.
Past a little at a time and watch for error messages.

Hi,
Can you let us kow from which model are you upgrading to 3750?. if it is not CATOS switch, almost all of your commands will be supported.
P.S : There seems to be some changes from 3550 to 3560/3750 switches in terms of some default configs (like switchport trunk mode).

Hi,
Yes, you can copy the config to a TFTP server and then download it from the TFTP server to the switch
