Hi Everyone,
I have an existing 3750-X switch running in the network. I'm planning to add one 3750-X then stack it with my existing. I know I don't need to add any configuration when stacking with stackWise cable. But my concerned is in stacking power. Is it safe to add the stacking power cable with one switch powered on? Second is I only have one slot of PSU (slot2), what is the proper way of connecting my power stacking cable? You can check it in my attachment for better understanding.
Any ideas with this?

As long as you use the cables from port A (switch 1) to port B (switch 2) etc etc. never go A to A or B to B.
in your pictures, Powerstack2 is correct

You do need configuration when you add a new switch to the stack, ideally you would provision the switch on the master before connecting it. i.e. lower the priority and make sure the IOS is the same version etc.

I will set my existing to priority 15 to make it as master. How about my power stack? What is the right way to connect these cable using only slot 2 PSU for both switch.

Thank you jhager001!
I successfully add the new switch to stack. Power stack is in Power-sharing mode.
