3750v2 not booting

i have a 3750v2 switch which on power up is showing jebrish caracters on console output.

I tried to put in romon module by pressing the mode key but after 15 seconds the light turn amber then green (this happens twice) and after 30 seconds the SYST light turns off. 

any suggestions...

The gibberish characters may have appeared since the baud rate on the switch in different than the one that you use on your CLI applicaiton ( PUTTY, SecureCRT etc. ) The default BAUD rate on a Cisco switch is 9600.

 

The gibberish characters can also appear after an IOS upgrade.

i am not sure if the baud rate has been change.

is there any way to check the baud rate ??
