Hi
I have a mikrotik ccr1072-1G-8S+ with a S+DA0001 going to a CISCO 3750X installed with a C3KX-NM-10G module. I cannot get this to work though. The mikrotik detects the SFP+ connected to it fine, but the cisco wont recognise the SFP+ module connected into the C3KX-NM-10G. It detects the C3KX-NM-10G just fine though, and the Gig SFP works as well in Port 1. Port 2 has the SFP+ module connected, Port 3 is empty, and Port 4 has ANOTHER SFP+ module in it, thats also not working. I'm also aware of this article here:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/t5/lan-switching-and-routing/3750-x-with-c3kx-nm-10g-not-recognizing-sfp/m-p/1999104#M224554
Can someone please confirm if the S+DA0001 is compatible with this CISCO module? I cant find anything anywhere. The CISCO is running 15.0(2)SE9 so perhaps its an IOS upgrade thats required, but I want to avoid doing that if the S+DA0001 isnt compatible anyway (found here: https://mikrotik.com/product/SplusDA0001) - I appreciate this isnt a $20,000 SFP+ CISCO model, but Im budget constrained.
I have tried another SFP+ found here: https://cdlnz.com/SFP1MCI, but this is exactly the same (and infact the Mikrotik interface recognises it, but the lights dont come on on it like they do with the S+DA0001.)
If anyone can help that would be appreciated.
Brad

As far as I know, if you have an SFP+ in port 2, port 1 cannot be used. Thus, if you have an SFP in port 1, port2 cannot have an SFP+, only another SFP. Try pulling the SFP from port 1 and see if the SFP+ in port 2 starts working.
