Solved: 3750x-48 stackwise with 3750G-12s

Hello community,

I have switch 3750x version: 12.2(55)SE8

SW Image: C3750E-UNIVERSALK9-M

i want to stack this switch with five 3750G-12s switches but haven't buy them yet,

what is the compatible image to choose?

Hi,

12.2(55)SE8 should work on both switches. The problem you run into is that the 3750-G has a smaller flash card and you are not going to able to upgrade the stack in the feature. You also have to use the stack cable that is compatible with the 3750-G and so lower stacking speed.

Overall, if you can use 2 3750X and not a mixture of X and G you get better results.

BTW, 3750-G series is EOL.
