Hi,

During initial boot up of the switch after joining to STACT i saw that the state is "Version Mismatch"

then after the reboot - i wasn't able to see the switch anymore. so i disconnected to stack connection and after that i reboot the switch and this is what i got from boot up process. see below logs --- Can anyone tell me what could be the issue, do i need to upload compatible IOS and connect it back to stack or anyone can confirm that this is a hardware issue.

Using driver version 3 for media type 2

The correct syntax is "dir flash:".

Someone attempted to upgrade the switch but interrupted the upgrade.  So now the switch is attempting to boot a corrupt IOS.

Solution is to upgrade the IOS again.

this update is done by master in STACk

Can i join 3750x-12port in the existing stack with 2 3750x-24 ports?

Can anyone provide me with the steps in uploading the new IOS in this switch with "switch:" prompt?

Thanks,

Copy the BIN file into a USB thumb drive.
Instruct the switch to boot the file from the thumb drive using the command "boot usbflash0:IOS_filename.bin".
