3750X idle CPU usage?

I just started setting up some 3750X I received for an event. and after setting them up ive been just programming access points with just one. No real traffic going on just a 10G link to my core and adopting APs.. about 24 at a time. Ive noticed that the CPU has been at around 54 and 58%. Is that normal. ?

I changed the iOS to 

c3750e-universalk9-mz.152-4.E10.bin

and now it is just blowing out the fans none stops and won't boot. 

doing this forever and ever.. Im stuck not in flash "switch:" completely confused on what to do..

Relax.  
Do you still have console access to the switch?  If you do, what is it doing?

Once the switch has booted up 15.2(4)E10, give it about an hour before checking the CPU.  

RedEarth, HULC are all processes related to Spanning-Tree Protocol.  If the total CPU is >65% and they are predominantly caused by these two, then shut down all the ports and watch if the CPU goes down.  

If the CPU goes down (after 10 minutes), then it only confirms that there is, at least, one port going down/up (aka flapping) that is causing the high CPU. 

For a 3650/3750 family of switches, I would not be worried about "high CPU" until it goes over 65% (5 min).  

Finally, classic IOS are heaps more stable vs IOS-XE.  I can have a stack of 3750X, for example, running 15.2(4)E10, with PoE, SNMP, Dot1X enabled with uptime of >2 years without any issues. 

I cannot get 12 months uptime with IOS-XE without suffering a crash.
