Hi

today  I tried to upgrade c3750X-24T-S with no success.

  i did with "archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://192.168.0.2/c3750e-universalk9-mz.150-2.SE6"

and got the following:

Error: The requested upgrade will cause an incompatibility since the
Error: FRU Module version numbers in the tar files are not compatible.
Error: If only one tar file was specified, the version number is not
Error: compatible with the existing image.
Error: If this is really what you want to do, you have to specify the
Error: `/no-version-check' option to override this compatibility
Error: check.

other q:

what does the image "c3kx-sm10g-tar.150-2.SE6.tar" stands for? Both images (universal and c3kx.sm10g) printed the same before the above error message:

Hello Jonagy,

i had this problem too.

You can solve this problem by executing the following command:

"archive download-sw /overwrite tftp://…./universal-image tftp://…./c3kx-SM-image".

Then the Switch will upgrade both images successivly in two steps.

After reload both images are installed.
