3850 - 12S GLC-LH-SMD notconnect

Dear Network Admins,

I have a problem about uplink port that is connected between cisco 3850 and mpls panel. I used GLC-LH-SMD sfp by doing this but releated uplink port notconnect.

let me say interesting thing, normally HP switch is connected to mpls like cisco 3850, it is working fine, i mean used HP SM sfp for HP switch uplink port and it is working fine. Then i connected it on cisco 3850s by ame sm cable that is coming from mpls panel, it seems noconnected, also changed sfp cisco glc-lh-smd by doing this. Below is configuration;  please help me..

 

CİSCO 3850;

 

Gi1/0/12                     notconnect   1            full   1000 1000BaseLX SFP

 

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/12
 switchport trunk allowed vlan 500
 switchport mode trunk

try to configure the below on the interface:

 

3850(config-if)# speed auto
3850(config-if)# duplex auto
3850(config-if)# mdix auto

Kindly check the logs of the switch if the port(s) are in error-disable or not (CSCvg95411)?

i also tried another ports and tx-rx positions and changing sm cable, please tell me different soluton about it

is the SFP actually recognized by the switch (show version) ? You need XE 3.3.3SE or Denali 16.1.1 for the 3850 to recognize the SFP...

version is Denall - 16.3.5
