3850 EOL

I'm trying to determine if the 3850 24-S and 48-P are EOL.  I see that IOS ver XE 16.3.5b might be EOL but is the switch itself EOL?

Re: 3850 EOL

Hello,

The 3850 is not EOL at this time. You can look at all EOL notices for the 3850 here:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/catalyst-3850-series-switches/eos-eol-notice-listing.html

Usually we will publish an EOL notice a couple years ahead of time to give you time to migrate to a supported platfrom before the actual EOL date. There is not even an EOL notice for the platform out yet. Just certain versions of software.

Hope that helps!

The switches are not EOL... Just the IOS XE vetsion you have installed. Just upgrade the IOS version and you're good to go
