3850 stack upgrade

Hi, I have console connectivity to one of a 2 switch 3850 stack, the 2nd one of which fails to stack due to OS mismatch. The first switch is running 16.3.7 in Install mode, which looks like it means it has the packages.conf file on, but not the relevant .bin file.

Is there any way of getting the second switch up to 16.3.7 without the actual .bin file. 

I have no idea what the second one is running.

IMPORTANT:  Make sure the new switch member is connected to the stack and powered on. 

Enter this command from the stack master: install autoupgrade

the command on my stack was actually in conf mode: software auto-upgrade install.

Then reload the mismatched switch: reload slot x.

The other switch does not go down
