4331 licenses support EIGRP DMVPN, IPSEC

Hi All,

I would like to place order for 4331 routers to support, Eigrp, IPsec over DMVPN phase,

what is the best license and IOS image to order;

are the following good options

SL-4330-IPB-K9 IP Base License for Cisco ISR 4330 Series
SL-4330-SEC-K9 Security License for Cisco ISR 4330 Series

thanks in advance

Hi,

The ISR 4331 - Only uses the UNIVERSAL image.

Features are invoked by the license type - like you the SECURITY license is needed.

Hi,

Have a look at the 4K range data sheet.
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/4000-series-integrated-services-routers-isr/datasheet-c78-732542.html

From

Table 2.       Architectural Highlights

Embedded IP Security (IPsec) VPN hardware acceleration

  Increases scalability. When combined with an optional Cisco IOS XE Software Security license, enables WAN link security and VPN services.

You have to use sec license or DMVPN wont work

eigrp works on ipbase but if you want full feature set you get appxk9 instead which is the enterprise license includes all DATA features same as ISR2
