                   What is the difference between lan base to ip base license and simply ip base license.

Ok,but my query is that in the configurator we have two options LAN base to IP base license and simply IP Base license.

Why Cisco is providing two types of licenses even both are having the same objective.

Actually I nned this clarification because for a customer we have procured a 4507 chasis with sup-7l-e and a spare

supervisor with which IP base license comes free.My query is that whether installing the license will upgrade both

the supervisors to IP Base features.will installing the license and restarting the chasis will suffice.

Yes, once the licensed file is installed, you just have to reboot it.
