4507R Interface speed issue

Hi ,

I presently have 4507R  switch model with IOS 12.2(54)SG1

We are observing many ports of one slot speed going down suddenly.

Please let me know  if any trouble shooting steps .

- How did you determine the speed is slowing down?

- What are the symptoms.

You can check:

Check the show interfaces ( take at look and relibiality, txload and rxload)

Check for speed and duplex.

Check linecard oversubscription, if there is an oversubcription limitation then you will start seeing output drops in the interfaces due to high amount of data being tail drop.

Let me turn the tables around.  What troubleshooting have YOU done?

There's a whole lot of difference with a response of "none" and "I/we did this, this, and this".

The reason why I'm asking is because of the lack of (troubleshooting) information.
