4510 won't boot to correct image

Having a problem getting a 4510 to boot to a new image (K9 vs regular).  I can make it boot to the k9 image if I boot from rommon, but not from startup.

Correct file is in bootflash:

Switch#dir bootflash:

Directory of bootflash:/

57122  -rw-   181583336  Nov 13 2013 06:05:38 +00:00  cat4500es8-universal.SPA.03.03.00.XO.151-1.XO.bin

57123  -rw-   185761868  Feb 13 2014 13:20:55 +00:00  cat4500es8-universalk9.SPA.03.03.00.XO.151-1.XO.bin

Changed the boot statement to:

boot-start-marker

boot system flash bootflash:/cat4500es8-universalk9.SPA.03.03.00.XO.151-1.XO.bin

boot-end-marker

(I've tried it w/out the '/' as well as I've seen it both ways).

boot variable shows correct image

Switch#show bootvar

BOOT variable = bootflash:/cat4500es8-universalk9.SPA.03.03.00.XO.151-1.XO.bin,1;

CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist

BOOTLDR variable does not exist

Configuration register is 0x2101

But on boot up, it continues to autoboot from first image in bootflash:

Do I need to change my confreg to 2102;  Or do I need to change my bootldr command as it says variable does not exist?

Yes you need to change your config register.

0x2101 means load the first image found

0x2102 means load the image specified in the boot variable.
