4948 Switch and Amber Light

We have a 4948 switch having IOS cat4500-ipbasek9-mz.150-2.SG7.bin . Even if ports are in administravelty shutdown status , physically the port shows amber light all the time .

Is this a physical hardware issue or IOS bug ?

The port indicators will show yellow if admin'd down .  Check the logs for any post errors etc..  Blurb from 4948 troubleshooing info.

The  port LEDs (1-48) are green when the module is operational (online). If  no signal is detected, the LINK LED is off. The port LED remains yellow  if the port is disabled (either in the configuration or by having an SFP  with a corresponding port number in use). The port LED flashes yellow  if the port tested faulty at startup.

Can you debug the port and and paste the out put here , its happining only for one port or all port,??
