I am trying to configure redundancy with SSO and I need to get the same IOS on both supervisors.  My issue is that I get an error when I try to copy the IOS from either the sup-bootdisk or the disk0 to the slavesupbootdisk.  The Error is Invalid argument.

I have tried also to tftp to the slavesupbootdisk and get the same result.

thanks,

Carl

Are those valid options on your box , sometimes it is sup-bootflash: .

Yes I did try that also.

Can you copy from the primary sup's disk0 to primary sup-bootdisk?

If you are having issue with copy, load the IOS using one sup at the time.  Once you are done with both sups, reboot the switch. it should comes up in sso mode now.  Don't forget to add the SSO command to the primary before rebooting

Hi,

Depending upon the type of your Sup you should use either "slavesup-bootflash:" or "slavesup-bootdisk:".
