6500 fan tray issue

I have a WS-C6509 and after a power cut the 6500 started to give these two messages repeatedly. Please what should i do.

%C6KENV-SP-4-FANTRAYFAILED: fan tray 1 failed
%SNMP-5-CHASSISALARM: Chassis Alarm Trap: tmpAlarm(OFF), minorAlarm(OFF), and/or majorAlarm(OFF)
%C6KENV-SP-4-FANTRAYOK: fan tray 1 OK

 - Try to observe the status of the fans and or re-seat the fan-tray , if that does not help , have it replaced

would the 6509 survive without a fan tray for a week or two if the fan tray goes dead? because it might take time to get a replacement? the server room already have A/C at 21c

- Not advisable , leaf the fan tray in place until it can be replaced. It
will probably still work, partially or not.
