Does 6509 E switches support SUP redundancy like 6506s?

Dual supervisor per chassis? Yes.
VSS? Depends on the supervisor cards. VS-Sup720, VS-Sup2T, VS-Sup6T support VSS.
Quad Core+VSS? Yes.

Also yes for non-VSS chassis sup redundancy too.

Hi!

When we have single chassis (6500-E or 6807XL) with dual Sup6T, what are the options for supervisor redundancy?

1) RPR

2) SSO

3) ... ?

and are all 10GE and 40GE ports active in both supervisors in each of those modes (except performance mode which deals with oversubscription issue)?

Sup6T not supported in 6500 chassis (only the sup2t is supported in the -E variants).

I believe for dual Sup6ts, you would want to use SSO (or whatever is the "best" dual sup redundancy mode). I would suspect all sup ports would be active. Unsure there's a "performance mode" for sup ports, as found on some line card ports, but I haven't worked with a sup6t. (Leo likely has, though.)
