6509 QOS disabled globally

My question is, if we have QOS diabled globally on a 6509 will a switchport trust the tags applied by the device connected to the port? I know the default once QOS is enabled is untrust.

Yes the default catalyst behavior is to strip the markings if QoS is enabled and trust not set. If QoS is disabled the markings are passed on as it is without any modification.
