Hi;

With reference to IOS, always go with Cisco suggested IOS. In your case for Cisco 6807 SUP 2T Cisco suggested IOS is 15.1.2-SY7.

https://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=283933147&flowid=49028&softwareid=280805680&release=15.1.2-SY7&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=MD&reltype=latest

Thanks & Best regards;

Hi

But I have C6800-32P10G

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6800/hardware/installation/guide/b_c6800_modules/b_c6800_modules_chapter_01.html

This document say "With Supervisor Engine 2T-10GE —Cisco IOS Release 15.2(1)SY or later  "

So.suggested IOS 15.1.2-SY7 no support.

Hi,

You are right currently Cisco suggested ios is not supported your module c6800-32p10g.

Now you don't have choice to go with Cisco recommend iOS. But you need to keep on eye on the iOS 15.2(1)sy after upgrade with reference to bugs. 15.2(1)sy is relatively new release (April 2016) by Cisco.

Thanks.

i will use line card(C6800-32P10G) 10g port to build VSL & dual-active fast hello.

Is it OK?

Hi,

15.2(1)SY1 has some bugs that is fixed in 15.2(1)SY1a and seems to be pretty solid.

Of course with IOS it all depend on the feature sets you are going to be running. Sometime one version fixes one thing and breaks something else.

Make sure to read the release notes before deploying any version.
