802.1ad and LACP incompatibility on 6800 SUP2T

Hi
I want to use EVC feature on my 6800 switched with sup2t, according to the following configuration guide I first need to do following steps to be able to use EVC features.

  • migrate from RSTP to MST feature
  • enable 802.1ad provider-bridge mode

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/ios/15-1SY/config_guide/sup2T/15_1_sy_swcg_2T/ethernet_virtual_connection.html

I've also configured many LACP ether-channels on my switch since my ether-channel peers are none-Cisco switches.

but restrictions for EVC on the configuration guide states that:

LACP EtherChannels and the 802.1ad provider-bridge mode are mutually exclusive.
LACP EtherChannels cannot transmit traffic when the 802.1ad provider-bridge mode is enabled.

Does this mean that In order to enable 802.1ad for EVC feature I need to change my channel-group mode to on over all my ether-channels prior to enabling 802.1ad globally?
