802.1x on Small Switch

Can somebody tell me what the smallest (i.e. cheapest) switch is with 802.1x. We have some user desktop areas that only need 6-12 ports, but we are now requiring 802.1x everywhere, so the hubs have to go.

Cisco 2940 is cheapest solution from cisco what supports IEEE 802.1x

Thank you! The 1940 is exactly what I was looking for! I didn't see that switch anywhere on the "products" page.

There is no 1940 switch of this type, cisco is having 2960 which could be more costlier for you. It cost near about $2500.

You can also go for "Cisco Catalyst Express 500 Series Switches". They are cheaper and capable of 802.1x.

Sorry, I meant the 2940 (not 1940). We looked at the 500 Series Switches, but they were not really what we wanted. The 500's are much larger than the 2940's, managed differently, and cost more. The 2940's look almost like the 2950's & 2960's we already use and seem to run the same IOS. The link on the description that "m.sir" sent even describes them as being designed for conference and training rooms (which is what we need them for). We found some new ones online for only $570 (a lot to replace a small hub, but in a range we can afford for 802.1x support).
