802.1x with certificateĀ  on the switch with server Radius

Hello

First  question

I want to know  what are the steps to configure 802.1x with certificate  on the switch with server Radius ??

second question 

i want to know what's the difference between 802.1x  and dot1x ?? 

i wait a reply  from expert cisco .

for Second point 
cisco some times use 802.1x and sometime use dot1x it same 
same as with 802.1q and dot1q of trunk some time cisco use 802.1q and in config we use command dot1q.
for example this guide to troubleshoot the dot1x but the message flow picture within this doc use 802.1x terminology.

for first point there are many many method use 802.1x such as 
EAP-TLS EAP-PEAP etc. all allow Server and user auth using Cert.
