There seems to be some confussion about the number of etherchannel connections a switch and a stack of switches can have. We have a stack of 4 3750E switches and need to know the total number of etherchannel connections the stack can support.

You can configure up to 16 ports to form a channel. Eight of the ports are in active mode, and the other eight are in standby mode. When any one of the active ports fails, a standby port becomes active.

Thanks for your reply, but my real issue is: how many 2 port etherchannel connections can I have per switch, and then how many 2 port etherchannel connections can I have per stack of 4 switches.
