I am integrating an 819HG-U-K9 into a comms system for the rail networks. I need to power the Router using a DC\DC supply from the locomotive 110V supply. Does anyone know what the detailed specification is for the Router supply. The documentation available on the web site and with the equipment indicates 5V at 4A. The particular data I am trying to locate is the tolerance on the 5V supply e.g. is it 5V +/- 0.2V ?
The supply we have developed has a nominal output of 4.95V +/- 0.05V whilst supplying up to 4A. The output noise and ripple is less than 10mV and the transient overshoot at power up is less than 50mV above nominal for less than 5ms. I would like to confirm that the supply tolerance and noise levels are acceptable for correct operation of the router.
