a single link hsrp problem ?

Hello,

I should put a second router HSRP for redundancy.
there are two interfaces on this router F0 / 0 operator and f0 / 1 Lan, I think implement HSRP only on the F0 / 0, knowing that the F0 / 1 there there's many sub interfaces config see below . Is this may be a problem

I must also change the C8114 router replacement router which you propose

Thanks

MA

Its up to you. You can use another c1841. Depends on how many clients you have. If you are happy with the performance of the 1841 then you can use a second 1841.

Hi. You can implement the HSRP both ways for redundancy on each vlan sub-interface tgat you want failover on. I would recommend you share the load between routers by making some vlans active on the 1 router,  and some on the other.  What is connected to the c1841?

Hi. Thank you for your reply, for the load share between routers, that is to say, for exemple,  I activate HSRP on router 1 for the vlan 100 and   activate HSRP for VLAN 111 in the router 2. !

I must change t the router C1841 with a new génereation which you recommend C3750 ?

Thanks

Hi. I'm sorry,  but I just realized that you asked a question with the post about Vlan 100 active on router 1 and vlan 111 active on router 2....... yes.  That is what I meant.  I hope you get it working.
