About IPTV Buffering

Hi Guys,

I have IPTV system in my hotel project (Head End streamer (signal from dish) and distributed to my network as multicast address. I noticed that there is a buffering issue when I select one TV channel start buffering then no buffer when I keep on the channel but if I go back to athoer channel got buffering again.

Is this related to my network or Set top box?

Streamer----->2960s----->Core-1------->2960s------>Set top boxes

I tried to make some policy for IPTV vlan but no hope!

if any one has Idea, please!

If you take a set top box and plug it directly point to point into the streamer, does the issue still happen?

If no, then plug into the first 2960s.  If no issue, move further down the chain.

As soon as the issue occurs it will be with the device you have plugged into.
