ABR is DR in Area 0 ....advertise summary area range ???

I have a trouble . I have two area . Area 3 and Area0 . The Area 3 is NSSA . I am receiving 2000 routes from NSSA , all routes belong to network 10.0.0.0/8 ...

I configure area range , to summarize the 2000 router belong to 10.0.0.0/8 , in one route ( summary route ) . But , not functiong .

Is the fact that ABR is DR in area 0 for that ???

Best Regards

Hi Rodrigo,

There is some configuration problem at your end. DR is the property of an interface in OSPF not the router. It doesnot matter is your ABR's interface which is in Areao is DR, your ABR should be able to generate the Summary router.

Please paste the router configuration.
