Access point compatibility

I have Cisco Access point

AIR-CAP1602I-N-K9

My doubt is,is this AP support on WLC AIR-WLC2112-K9

AIR-CAP1602I-N-K9 access point can only communicate with Cisco wireless LAN controllers, such as 2500 series,

5500 series, and WiSM controllers
