ACI Upgrade leaf and spine using USB

Hi All, I have apic firmware different than for Spine and leaf, so APIC can't to discover the leaf and spine. i want to upgrade leaf and spine via cli using usb. can anyone provide me the procedure how to upload the firmware on leaf and spine then boot from that firmware. Thanks

I know this is not a conventional way to do it (maybe not recommended), but have you try this -> https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus9000/sw/6-x/upgrade/guide/b_Cisco_Nexus_9000_Series_NX-OS_Software_Upgrade_and_Downgrade_Guide_Release_6x/b_Cisco_Nexus_9000_Series_NX-OS_Software_Upgrade_and_Downgrade_Guide_Release_6x_c...  (making them NX-OS and then returning to ACI in the desired version).

Basically you need the version image in the USB stick, some copy-paste in linux style and thats all
