Add switch to stack without traffic interruption - C 9200

Hello,
I would like to add a switch in a stack already in production without interruption.
I create a provision for switch 5 on the existing stack, (model and version are ok). I make the connections and I start the switch 5.

But do I have to do a configuration on switch 5 before?

Just make sure Switch 5 has the same exact IOS as the rest of the stack and also the same license.

No, once you add switch 5 to the stack, the master will sync the config to the new switch.
