Hi!

I need to add a switch in my current network but not able to do the proper configuration. Attached is the network diagram designed by hand. Can anybody help?

Thanks.

Hi!

So you have all those edge switches connected to the core with SVIs in the core as VLAN 10,11,12,13,7,100,101,102,103?

I am not exactly understanding the problem, are you trying to add that new switch users to an already existing VLAN or you want to add them to a completely different one?

According to the diagram, it seems you want to connect the new switch to another using a trunk interface, however I would not recommend that but instead connecting it directly to the core like the other ones for availability, since if that switch fails it will provoke an outage in users of the new switch.

Regards!

JC

It is not possible to connect the switch directly to core. Yes, I need to connect it to an already existing vlan.
