If I have 2 interfaces , one on the 192.168.1, the other on the 192.168.2, network, if I advertise these as a 192.168 network, will it advetise the network that the interfaces are on or will it just advetise the 192.168/16 network ?
thanks

Hi
which is the routing protocol being deployed over ther ?
subnet mask does plays a round in advertising the networks .you need to consider the same before you start advertising the networks..

Hi
You better advertise them as simple /30 network if you have them configured on your wan interfaces or advertise them as /24 if you are using them on the LAN interface.

So is it best to advertise them both ?
