Hi,
Can anyone let me know about if there are any outage is happened or not when we remove seondary network statement under interface vlan ?
For example, following configuration is being configured;
interface vlan x
ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x
ip address a.a.a.a a.a.a.a seconary
!
we want to just remove secondary IP address statement as intended. there is no any host using a.a.a.a IP address scheme.
if so, if we remove secondary network, it would be any impact to primary IP address? such as interface reset or arp clear like so?
My intention is there is no any impact for x.x.x.x address. so, there is no any outage can see.
Am I right?

I agree that using the command no ip address a.a.a.a a.a.a.a secondary would not cause an outage on the switch. It would have impact if the addresses being removed were being used for any purpose. But it would not cause the switch to stop forwarding packets/frames.
